Kate's First Swim Lesson- 19 months!
I have been excited and anxious for Kate's first swimming lesson and I'm happy to report it was not as eventful as I feared it might be! I thought she would cry and be upset because she had to get in the pool with a "stranger". Ms. Shannon is so sweet and took it slow with Kate and it made it so much easier than I anticipated. She eased Kate in with toys and was very friendly! Kate "swam" to me on the edge 3 times..head under and kicking her feet...for about 2-3 feet each time! She looked a bit alarmed and confused, but she didn't shed a tear. She's the only kid who didn't cry!

Have I told you how much this girl loves shoes, this includes "water slippers" as Ms. Shannon called them!!

Lessons are Monday-Thursday for 4 weeks! Very excited to watch her daily progress!!
